Instant Pot Creamy Ziti
Note: Made in a 6-qt Instant Pot
Equipment
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups (355 ml) chicken broth
- 1 cup (237 ml) heavy cream
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 g) salt
- 1/4 teaspoon (0.5 g) black pepper
- 8 ounces (227 g) ziti pasta dry
- 1 cup (237 ml) marinara
- 1/2 cup (50 g) parmesan cheese shredded
- 1/2 cup (56 g) mozzarella shredded
- Parmesan cheese and chopped basil for garnish
Instructions
- Combine chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic, salt and pepper in the Instant Pot. Pour in the ziti and push it down into the liquid (don’t stir).
- Close the lid of the Instant Pot and seal the vent. Pressure cook on high for 8 minutes.
- When done, allow steam to release naturally for 5 minutes before releasing the remaining pressure.
- Turn off the Instant Pot and open the lid.
- Stir in the marinara, parmesan and mozzarella cheeses. The pasta will thicken as it cools. Top with more mozzarella cheese and chopped basil.
