1 1/2 cups (355 ml ) chicken broth 1 cup (237 ml ) heavy cream 1 clove garlic minced 1/2 teaspoon (3 g ) salt 1/4 teaspoon (0.5 g ) black pepper 8 ounces (227 g ) ziti pasta dry 1 cup (237 ml ) marinara 1/2 cup (50 g ) parmesan cheese shredded 1/2 cup (56 g ) mozzarella shredded Parmesan cheese and chopped basil for garnish

Combine chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic, salt and pepper in the Instant Pot. Pour in the ziti and push it down into the liquid (don’t stir).
Close the lid of the Instant Pot and seal the vent. Pressure cook on high for 8 minutes.
When done, allow steam to release naturally for 5 minutes before releasing the remaining pressure.
Turn off the Instant Pot and open the lid.
Stir in the marinara, parmesan and mozzarella cheeses. The pasta will thicken as it cools. Top with more mozzarella cheese and chopped basil.
Don't stir the pasta before sealing the lid. Just push it down into the liquid. This ensures perfectly cooked pasta in the Instant Pot every time!
Change it up by stirring in chopped spinach or sautéed mushrooms right after releasing the pressure.
After you've stirred all the ingredients in let the pasta sit for a few minutes before serving. The pasta will thicken as it cools.
