Ingredients
 

  • 1 cup (160 g) wild rice
  • 1 1/3 cup (315 ml) water or low-sodium broth
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) olive oil or butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.5 g) salt

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the rice thoroughly in cold water in a colander. Drain well.
  • Pour the rice into the Instant Pot along with the water, oil/butter, and salt.
  • Secure the lid and set the vent to sealing (if necessary for your model).
  • Set to cook on high pressure for 25 minutes. When done, allow a natural release of pressure for 10 minutes, then release the remaining pressure and open the lid.
  • Fluff the rice with a fork.
