Turn on saute mode. Add butter to the Instant Pot and saute the brats for 2 minutes per side.
STEP 2
Turn off IP and remove the brats. Pour water into the pot and deglaze any browned bits. Insert the trivet. Place the brats on the trivet. Lock the lid and set the vent to seal.
STEP 3
Set the Instant Pot to Pressure Cook on high for 6 minutes. When done, manually release the pressure.
STEP 4
Test the internal temperature of the brats to make sure it reached 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
