Instant Pot Apple Cider
This Instant Pot Apple Cider is a homemade treat for fall made with fresh apples, orange, lemon, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
– 6 apples cored and cut in half – 1 orange peeled and quartered – 2 slices lemon – 2 cinnamon stick – 1 nutmeg – 6 cups water – 1/4 cup brown sugar – 2 pieces star anise optional

Pour the fruit into the Instant Pot. Add the cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, and star anise, then pour in water and brown sugar. Stir to combine.
Press the pressure cook button and set the time to 15 minutes on high pressure.
After time is up, allow a natural release for 20 minutes. Open the pot and smash the fruit with a masher.
Strain the liquid through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth. Serve directly from the Instant Pot, if you want.
